February 6, 2020 – Steven Sedereas, an Associate in DHC’s Real Estate practice, spoke to Crain’s New York Business about new guidance issued by the Department of State that initially appeared – before a court injunction – to effectively eliminate most residential broker fees. The new rule, Sedereas said, could hurt smaller landlords who depend on brokers to find new tenants. The rule has been stayed pending litigation.
