November 24, 2020 – DHC’s Founding Partner and former top aide to John V. Lindsay, Sid Davidoff, remembered his long-time friend David Dinkins, who died at the age of 93.

Davidoff stated, “David Dinkins was a very special person who was not only my close friend and long-time tennis partner, but also a great New Yorker whose time as mayor was filled with dignity, grace and quiet strength in service of the city he loved. David’s greatest legacy was keeping the US Open in New York City, something he dedicated himself to for two years and that resulted in a beautiful facility in Flushing Meadow Park that will stand as a testament to him for years to come. While I am glad David is finally reunited with his beloved Joyce, I will miss him and this city will miss him.”

This morning, Davidoff spoke to Rosanna Scotto and Lori Stokes from Good Day New York to remember former Mayor Dinkins. View the segment here.
