NEW YORK, JANUARY 4, 2017 – Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP (DHC), one of New York’s leading law and government relations firms, announced today that former New York State Assemblyman Keith L. T. Wright has joined the firm’s Government Relations practice. During his prolific 23-year career in the Assembly, Assemblyman Wright chaired such Committees as Housing, Election Law, Social Services, and Labor. Wright adds to an already seasoned team of lobbyists at DHC, led by Sid Davidoff in New York City, Steve Malito in Albany, and other government affairs professionals. He will focus on a variety of issues at the City and State level.
“I am honored and excited to be joining the team at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron,” said Assemblyman Wright. “While I will always cherish my time as a New York State Assemblyman, I am ready for a new challenge. It is not often that you get the opportunity to work among friends, and that’s what the team at DHC is.”
“We could not be more thrilled to have added Keith to our team,” said Sid Davidoff, Senior Partner at DHC. “His reputation, background, and subject matter expertise are unrivaled in the State of New York. We are all looking forward to a big 2017, and Keith is a major part of that.”
“I have known Keith for my entire career, and he has always been a breath of fresh air and a great professional,” said Steve Malito, Chair of the New York State Government Relations Group at DHC. “I am proud to call him a colleague in addition to a friend.”
“On behalf of the entire firm, I would like to welcome Keith to Davidoff Hutcher & Citron,” said Jeffrey Citron, Co-Managing Partner at DHC. “He is the perfect person to round out our practice, and his record – as an elected official and in life – is unassailable. I am eager to see him in action.”
During the course of his career, Wright has served as the Chairman of the State Democratic Committee and is currently the Chairman of the New York County Democrats. He also serves as Chair of the Harlem Community Development Corporation. He is a graduate of Rutgers Law School and Tufts University. He brings a wealth of experience to DHC, and will immediately take on a leadership role in the firm’s State and City lobbying efforts.
