Joshua J. Goldstein’s practice focuses on the preservation and transfer of family legacies through Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Estate Litigation. He works with clients across the spectrum, from individuals and young families at the start of their wealth-building journey, owners of closely-held businesses or complex assets, blended families or individuals with other special considerations, and multigenerational families encompassing a wide variety of interests and goals.  He also counsels executors, trustees, and other fiduciaries to ensure the efficient, tax optimal delivery of trust and estate administration services.

Prior to transitioning to Trusts and Estates, Mr. Goldstein’s career in law began at large international law firms (Morrison & Foerster, McKee Nelson, and Ashurst) where he worked on securities offerings and structured bespoke equity derivatives for hedge funds, broker-dealers, and high net worth end-users.

Mr. Goldstein is a member of the New York City Bar Association where he has served as an Associate Member to the Estate and Gift Taxation Committee (2020-21) and is a member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association.
